PEC Zwolle has earned three points from its first match of the new season. The tenth-placed team from the previous Eredivisie season won at home 1-0 against a disappointing FC Twente, which just missed out on European football in May. PEC Zwolle, which lost attacking forces Filip Krastev, Younes Namli, and Dylan Vente during this transfer period, has not yet reached the desired level with its selection.
