PEC Zwolle is working on strengthening its attack and has its sights set on Danish forward Elias Sørensen. The 26-year-old player is expected to join from Norwegian club Valerenga IF, where he scored twelve goals in 28 league matches during his first year. With the departure of Kaj de Rooij to Real Valladolid and the return of loan players Shola Shoretire and Jan Faberski, PEC Zwolle's attack is thin. Sørensen, who primarily plays as a left winger, can also operate on the right. He has previous experience at Newcastle United and Almere City FC, where he recorded five goals and four assists in the 2020/21 season. The club hopes that Sørensen will be the first real newcomer of the season, as Zwolle has already secured loan players Thijs Oosting, Tijs Velthuis, and Tom de Graaff permanently. With Sørensen's arrival, PEC Zwolle can better prepare for the challenges of the new season.
