Younes Namli sent Shoretire away with a beautiful pass with the outside of his foot, after which the left winger shot the ball into the goal. But PEC Zwolle had not played in the last few days and was therefore fresh. Shoretire scored twice and Mac Nulty scored the third goal for PEC Zwolle. Peer Koopmeiners scored a consolation goal for AZ, but it was too late. AZ drops to sixth place in the VriendenLoterij Eredivisie due to the defeat, PEC Zwolle rises to twelfth place. The match was a real test for AZ, which achieved a monster victory over Ajax on Wednesday. But PEC Zwolle was too strong and won the match 3-1. Shoretire was the man of the match, he scored twice and gave an assist. Mac Nulty was also important, he scored the third goal for PEC Zwolle. PEC Zwolle is now twelfth in the VriendenLoterij Eredivisie, AZ is sixth.
