PEC Zwolle enters the new season with a refreshed coaching staff. The club has announced that assistant coaches Tim Bakens and Scott Calderwood are leaving. This decision follows an evaluation of the past season, which revealed that the future for both coaches lies outside PEC Zwolle. Technical director Gerry Hamstra stated that Tim Bakens has a strong ambition to work as a head coach elsewhere. He has previously held this role temporarily, and it seems to be the right time for him to seize that opportunity. Additionally, Hamstra noted that there was a difference of opinion with Scott Calderwood regarding several aspects of their collaboration. The club is grateful for the work both coaches have enthusiastically performed and wishes them much success in their future careers in professional football. PEC Zwolle is now looking for two replacements to strengthen the coaching staff for the upcoming season.
