PEC Zwolle loses Beelen to Feyenoord

PEC Zwolle loses Thomas Beelen to Feyenoord. The 22-year-old defender makes the move to Rotterdam-Zuid after an agreement between the two clubs. Beelen debuted at the end of the 2021/22 season for PEC Zwolle in the Eredivisie. On the last matchday, against PSV, Dick Schreuder even gave him a starting spot as midfielder.

PEC Zwolle and Feyenoord have reached an agreement on the transfer of Thomas Beelen. The young defender follows in the footsteps of Thomas van den Belt to Rotterdam-Zuid.

Why is this important for PEC Zwolle?

Beelen made an impression in the preparation of last year and conquered a fixed spot as a sliding central man in the three-man defense of PEC. He already received an upgraded contract until mid-2025 in September.

What comes next?
