PEC Zwolle has received an important contribution of €37,500 from the VriendenLoterij FanFonds. This support is aimed at Regio Zwolle United, which focuses on the development of children and youth in the region. During a dinner for Eredivisie shareholders, the check was presented to Joost Broerse, the general director of PEC Zwolle. The contribution will primarily be used for the 'YoungStars program' and PEC Zwolle Powerchair Football. This program is essential for the inclusion of children who use electric wheelchairs, allowing them to fully participate in a team. Geert Friebel from the VriendenLoterij FanFonds emphasized the importance of social impact and how football can contribute to connection in society. Eilt Staal, director of Regio Zwolle United, added that this contribution enables them to further expand their support and professionalization of the project.
